BALES

OF HAY

DONATED

Donate a
virtual bale of hay

If you’re not a farmer but you want to support RDA riders and horses, we would be over the moon if you donated a virtual bale of hay!

Your donation helps local RDA groups all around the country to deliver high-quality, safe, and effective life-changing health and wellbeing outcomes for our riders.

Your donation can help us to run Volunteer Workshops or to pay for hay for horses.

If you would like your donation to be for Volunteer Workshops, please put Workshops.

If you would like your donation to be for Hay for Horses, please put Hay and the name of the group or the region.

Not sure which group? Here is the list of groups who have not yet had hay

Haystack challenge

Did you know that, over a 16-week winter, 10 horses would need at least 160 bales of hay?

Federated Farmers of New Zealand has kindly offered to assist New Zealand Riding for the Disabled by seeking donations of hay from their farmers around the country.

The challenge is to build the haystack as high as we can!

We are grateful for all and any donations, and we know that our RDA horses will be happy to have full tummies over winter.
