FAQs for Riders
How do I become a rider?
Contact your nearest group by phone or email and ask if you can become a rider. Or fill in our form and your nearest RDA group will contact you. Many groups have waiting lists but they will do their best to find a place for you.
How much does it cost?
The cost varies from group to group. In all cases, the cost to run the service is much higher than the price charged to the rider, and so each group raises funds to subsidise the cost. We may be able to help to find assistance with the rider fees so please do not hesitate to ask.
Where is my nearest RDA group?
There are over 50 locations nationwide. View the RDA groups here.
Do you have adult riders?
Yes we do. Sometimes there are limits on the weight that an individual horse can carry so it will depend on the horses that are available at each RDA group.
